Today i also found another surprise, it has a market close to Bull Ring. It sells a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. I just want to share some photos with all of you.

Nectarine -- 10 for £ 1.00

Plum Ripe -- 2 lbs for £ 0.50

A yellow color plum, it taste good and the plum skins is not sour at all.

Apple Mango

Apple Mango also known as Sour Mango. What is the real name for this mango? Actually i dont know. Since i was kid, i just called it "Apple Mango" caused the shape is look like Apple. I think it is Malaysia's local fruits.

Some people called this mango "Sour Mango". As the name , it is extremely sour. You cant eat without sauce.

You can make you own sauce easily. Just add some soya sauce and sugar, mixed it up. Then it will be a perfect sauce for Apple Mango. Besides, you can try to get the Fruits Rojak sauce as well.

Tampooi

Tampooi is local Malaysia fruits. Which the outlook is a bit look like potatoes, and inside a bit look like "Duku Langsat". But i can tell you, this is totally not potatoes or duku langsat. It is Tampooi, a local fruits. I found this fruits in one of the rest areas in "PLUS" (a highway in Malaysia) along the way to Penang.

The taste is sweet, but not too sweet. And it is comes together with a good local fruits smell. It is nice to have this Tampooi in my life. If i not mistaken, it is selling RM 5 per kg. When you going to Penang, you can try to find this fruits in the rest areas besides PLUS. I do not remember which rest area already, something like rest area which is close to Penang. All the best !!!!

Pulasam (Wild Rambutan)

Pulasam is also called Wild rambutan. It is a local fruits which can find in Malaysia. The outlooks is a bit like rambutan. But the skin is harder than rambutan. I do not know how is the tree look like, but i guess is similiar with Rambutan Trees.

When you open it, it looks totally like rambutan. The taste is almost same like rambutan, but it is sweeter.

Pulasam is a seasoning fruits. You can get it once a year in Malaysia. Due to the climate change in the world, you might able to get it twice a year. During the season period, you can get 3 kg for RM 10. It is really a good price. Sometimes, it is selling 1kg for RM 5. It is still worth to buy. As a local Malaysian, you should try this Pulasam.

Cameron Highland Pearl Corn

The best corn in the Malaysia !!! It is a local product from Cameron Highland, Malaysia. You can notice that the corn is mixing with yellow and white corn. The white corn just like a pearl, so it is called "Pearl Corn". A long the way to Cameron Highland, you will see a lot of people is selling this corn.

The selling price for one stick of the corn is around RM 3 to 4.50. Although it is more expensive than normal corn. But it is worth to buy.

The simple way to cook the corn is steam it without adding any other things. A lot of people like to add some butter and salt on the corn. But I can tell you, this will spoilt the taste of the corn. You can get the ready streamed corn in Cameron.

Once you bite on the corn, you will feel the juice of the corn like blowing out from your mouth !!! I never taste any corn like this before.

If you going to Cameron Highland, you must take a try of the "Pearl Corn". Unlucky said, if you going there without any production of Pearl Corn, you might need to go up again.
