How to make a salted chicken?
Wrap a chicken with Dong Guai in one piece of grease proof paper. Put it into a wok with full of heated coarse salt crystals. Baked for a few hours.

It is nothing special for the Salted Chicken in Ipoh, but it is traditional type. A lot of Salted Chicken in Kuala Lumpur is just steamed a chicken and cover it with salt. For the traditional type, it might need to cover it with heated coarse salt crystals and baked for a few hours. Ipoh salted chicken which fulfill this requirement.

One whole salted chicken is selling RM 16. It is good to buy it in Ipoh and have it in Cameron Highland.
